Are you passionate about making a difference in Colleton County? Colleton CARES is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Board of Directors. This is an excellent opportunity for community members who want to have a positive impact and contribute their time, skills, and ideas to help advance our mission.  Colleton CARES (Committed to Advocacy, Rights, Education and Success) is a community-focused organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Colleton County through advocacy, education, and service programs. Our board plays a vital role in guiding our vision and supporting our initiatives.

Board Member Responsibilities

• Attend regular board meetings (typically once a month)
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making
• Support fundraising and outreach initiatives
• Serve as an ambassador for Colleton CARES within the community
• Contribute to committees and special projects as needed
