Early Intervention Services
Early Intervention Services provide free family training from birth to 36 months of age in the following areas:
- Cognitive Skills
- Adaptive Skills
- Emotional Skills
- Gross Motor Skills
- Fine Motor Skills
- Social Skills
- Communication Skills
An Early Interventionist can Also:
- Be the liaison for the parent on services with other providers as needed for the child including but not limited to the following:
- Speech Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy)
- Assist with Transition to School (parents’ choice, testing required)
- Black Street or HeadStart
- Process starts when child reach 30 months (2 years, 6 months)
- Child could be enrolled in school on 3rd birthday.
