Early Beginnings 
Early Intervention Services 

Early Intervention Services provide free family training from birth to 36 months of age in the following areas:

  • Cognitive Skills
  • Adaptive Skills
  • Emotional Skills
  • Gross Motor Skills
  • Fine Motor Skills
  • Social Skills
  • Communication Skills

An Early Interventionist can Also:

  • Be the liaison for the parent on services with other providers as needed for the child including but not limited to the following:
    • Speech Therapy
    • Physical Therapy
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy)
  • Assist with Transition to School (parents’ choice, testing required)
    • Black Street or HeadStart
    • Process starts when child reach 30 months (2 years, 6 months) 
    • Child could be enrolled in school on 3rd birthday.
